LWIR Lens Features:
We have a wide selection of IR lenses including manually adjustable lenses, fixed lenses and motorized lenses for LWIR. We stock focal lengths ranging from 3.8 to 250. We also offer different interface options such as M34x0.5, M45x1, M34x0.5, M34x0.75, C-mount and flange. The distance between the lens and the object can vary from 13.3 to 61.26.
LWIR lenses usually use Surful. This material is known for its durability, resistance to chemical reactions and hardness, which makes it suitable for harsh environments. However, Surful has a disadvantage
When the temperature changes under certain conditions, the lens can easily lose focus. If you anticipate temperature fluctuations, we recommend using ZnSe LWIR lenses instead. These lenses provide a more stable focus even with significant temperature changes.
